The Lot Expansion and Improvements project aims to revitalize and enhance the functionality of the Myatt facility parking lots to serve as training grounds and testing area for Commercial Driver’s Licensing (CDL) courses, primarily for WeGo bus drivers, as well as revitalize the MTA/WeGo Employee’s parking area. The present project addresses the rehabilitation and resurfacing of the existing Myatt facility lots, including addressing localized pavement structure failures, installing concrete slabs in areas of high use, installing a new access driveway on the NW corner of the parking lot, reestablishing stripping and marking of the certified CDL training courses. Improvements also include the expansion of drivable area in the lot by replacing the existing grass strip with full structural pavement section. The project will also install a concrete platform to be used for training and installing one empty conduit for future electrical connections. The project will also address revitalizing the employee parking lots and painting the parking stalls, along with installing corresponding signage.
