The contractor shall provide all clean-up services for identified homeless encampment site clean-ups to remove encampment waste material to provide a safe and clean site along Utah’s Freeway and State Highway as defined in Utah Code 72-1-102, State lands, as defined in Utah Code 65A-1-1, Sovereign lands, as defined in Utah Code 65A-1-1, and the Jordan River Recreation Area Zone, as defined in 65A-2-8 (“Service Area”). These Service Areas may contain various materials such as garbage and general debris, human waste, constructed temporary shelters, and other items associated with homeless occupancy. UHP will take and collect photos and notify the local health department to clean up biohazardous and hazardous waste at the identified location. Photos with the assigned Incident number will be sent to the awarded Contractor by a DPS-assigned personnel to begin cleanup.
