Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ketchikan Gateway Borough (Borough) is requesting proposals for the purpose of contracting Professional Services to lead the review and update of the Borough’s Comprehensive Plan, along with the associated community engagement effort. The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to articulate a community vision for the next 20 years and to set out the specific goals, policies, and actions needed to achieve that vision. To develop this document, the selected consultant will review all relevant codes, ordinances, policies, existing plans and other relevant documentation; analyze the current demographics and projected future growth of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough; develop and implement a robust community engagement program; and work closely with Borough staff, Administration, Planning Commission, Assembly, and the citizens of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough.
