Specifications include, but are not limited to: 300,000 Gallon Stand Pipe (Old Kenyon Road) 1) Replace existing vent screen with a new, non-corrodible metal screen having 24-mesh. 2) Installation of a “Flapper Gate” or duckbill valve on the overflow piping 3) Installation of concrete splash pad or rip rap 12-24” below the bottom of the overflow piping per EPA/AWWA Requirements.; 500,000 Gallon Elevated Spheroid Tank 1) Remove the existing temporary repair done on the hatch of the tank (Figure 3) and install a permanent repair that will seal and secure the hatch opening from contaminants. 2) Replace existing vent screen with a new, non-corrodible metal screen having 24-mesh. 3) Installation of a “Flapper Gate” or duckbill valve on the overflow piping 4) Modifying existing hatch to add provisions for a pad lock.
