Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will research and evaluate the following areas during this project. 1. Work closely with appointed SilCo and Town staff members to achieve all objectives set forth in the Scope of Work. The consultant will meet regularly with staff members and a planning committee, which will be comprised of key members from both SilCo and the Town, to provide project updates and receive feedback. 2. Understand the relationship between Theatre Silco and the Town of Silverthorne and incorporate Theatre SilCo and the Town’s missions and goals in the plan. 3. Take the necessary steps to engage the community through a comprehensive public process that includes a variety of information-gathering methods such as public meetings, workshops, stakeholder meetings, surveys, and other relevant outreach that effectively collects information from the community to guide the plan. Outreach shall be conducted in both English and Spanish. (Access to Spanish resources is available if needed.) 4. Produce detailed recommendations that include prioritized action steps, a timeline, and budget. Consideration of the following topics will be included. a. Given the community size and demographics, what is the optimal programming schedule and mix? What processes can be established to make creative decisions? b. What is the optimal staffing model for the theatre? Where are the gaps and how can the Town’s resources be leveraged best? c. Compared to similar theatre operations, are SilCo’s production costs in line and sustainable? SilCo currently operates at a high-quality level as an Actors’ Equity Association theatre. d. What is the optimal space needed for programming and offices? e. What is the optimal operating budget for the theatre and what is the target mix of revenue contributors; public support, private support, earned income? f. What are the best options for the financial and operational relationship between SilCo and the Town?
