Specifications include, but are not limited to: On-call construction of miscellaneous water and sewer projects. The value of the individual projects will typically be within the State Highway Administration’s Cost Group C. The projects may include but are not limited to utility construction involving: Water and wastewater pump station upgrades and improvements Wastewater treatment facility upgrades and improvements Valve station upgrades and improvements Water storage tank facility upgrades and improvements Miscellaneous water and wastewater facility improvements; The County intends to use the services of the on-call water facility contractors for performance of work required under the various capital improvement programs and projects, and/or the water and sewer operation and maintenance program. The County will prepare plans and/or specifications when necessary. The Contractor shall prepare a construction cost estimate for each project for the County’s review based on the unit prices provided in the proposal. If the estimate is acceptable, the County will initiate a Purchase Requisition for the work effort.
