Specifications include, but are not limited to: CURBSIDE SERVICES. A. The State may request the Contractor to provide recycling services. If the Contractor offers recycling services, at a minimum, the recycling service provided by the Contractor must offer collection of five broad material types. Broad material types include: paper, cardboard, metal, glass, and plastic. Single sort recycling of four material types is acceptable. B. The Contractor may provide organics recycling service, if requested by the State agency and offered by the Contractor. Source separated organic services include the pickup and recycling of organic waste material for composting. ROLLOFF and BULK WASTE SERVICES. A. The Contractor may provide rolloff waste hauling services, if requested by the State agency and offered by the Contractor. B. The Contractor may provide bulk waste removal services, if requested by the State agency and offered by the Contractor. Items considered bulk waste may include, but are not limited to: • Appliances: Large and small appliances will be scrapped and recycled. All refrigerants will be removed by the State prior to disposal. • Mattresses: Bed mattresses will be collected and disposed of by landfilling. • Furniture: Furniture will be collected and disposed of by landfilling. • Pallets: Pallets will be collected and disposed of by landfilling or recycled depending on availability of recycling facilities...
