Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work shall include fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, special fire suppression system services, inspections, repairs, remedial work, and renovations. Responses will be accepted from firms who wish to provide service on some but not all systems; for example, all systems except “extinguishing systems”. This should be noted in the response. • Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation required to perform these services. • Fire alarm systems include but are not limited to: o Design, installation, programming and repair of fire alarm systems o Contractor must be an authorized Notifier® Distributor o Annual inspections o Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) o Fire Alarm Annunciator Panels (FAAP) o Power supplies and Backup power supplies o Communication equipment and Central Station reporting o Heat detectors o Smoke Detectors o Duct detectors o Optical Beam Detectors o Carbon Monoxide Detectors o Multi-Sensor Detectors o Addressable and Intelligent devices o RATH® communication systems • Fire Sprinkler Systems include but are not limited to: o Design, installation, programming and repair of fire sprinkler systems o Annual inspections o Water flow switches o Supervisory and tamper switches for Fire pump monitoring o Pre-action valve solenoids o Dry pipe systems o Emergency transfer switches o Nitrogen generators and nitrogen-filled fire sprinkler piping systems • Special suppression and smoke evacuation systems include but are not limited to: o Design, installation, inspection, programming and repair of special extinguishing systems o Annual and Semi-Annual inspections as required for applicable system o Kitchen hood fire suppression systems o Special agent suppression systems o Victaulic Vortex® Systems o HVAC smoke evacuation control equipment
