The Project will demolish two (2) existing aerial pedestrian bridges connecting historic factory sites across the Metro North Waterbury Branch Line. The Consulting Engineer will be required to provide demolition plans and specifications including any conditions from Metro North and CTDOT Rails, survey, reports, environmental safeguards, permit applications, provide consulting services during construction and perform construction inspection. The Consulting Engineer will be evaluated and selected on their technical competence, the capacity and capability to perform the work within the time allotted, past record of performance, and knowledge of federal, state and city procedures, appropriately weighted in descending order of importance.
