1. Selection of concrete mixtures containing alternative cementitious materials will be determined under a separate research contract. This work is expected to be completed before June 2024. There will be 7 materials chosen, in addition to a control section using typical MnDOT concrete pavement materials. 2. Coordination of construction of test sections at MnROAD facility. A comprehensive construction report will also be available before February 2025. 3. MnDOT will pay for shipping of samples needed for testing as agreed upon. 4. Instrumentation will be determined by the NRRA project technical advisory panel (TAP), then purchased and installed by MnDOT. 5. Collection and processing of pavement performance measures and sensor data. 6. Material sampling, testing and petrography analysis.
