The Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health, is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors to provide Peer Support Supervision training for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Clinical Supervisors, Master Level Clinical Supervisors in community settings; Non-Clinical Peer Support Supervisors, and State Program Officers that oversee Peer Support programs. The purpose of this contract is to continue to help supervisors provide supervision to those with lived experience. The training will assist supervisors in dealing with ethical and other problems that Peer Support Specialists may encounter on the job. The training will ensure supervisors are skilled in supervising practitioners with lived experience; build acceptance of the Peer Support Specialist role within the treatment teams; and cover the regulations and standards for billable services to different funding sources. This training will also assist with supervisors understanding boundaries of how much a peer should be sharing of their story. The contractor will use creative options for teaching supervision including classwork, didactics, and group supervisions. The classes should tackle basic supervision areas and advanced areas including hiring practices and agency policies. Classes should be approved by NASW, NAADAC, and provide NASW and NAADAC CEUs. The contractor will provide eight (8) sets of supervision training via Zoom for the initial period of performance. Renewal option years will be at four (4) trainings per year. Classes will be given via Zoom. The training via Zoom must be live training. SUD supervisors will have first priority in all training
