Specifications include, but are not limited to: h. Corrective Maintenance 1. Contractor shall perform corrective maintenance on all security systems and components covered under the task order 24/7/365 upon notification from VDOT. 2. Contractor shall use reasonable diligence to ensure corrective maintenance issues are completed in a reasonable amount of time. 3. All costs associated with corrective maintenance shall be included in the fixed price of the Maintenance Task Order except as noted in section E.d7.m “Out-ofscope.” ; 1. All inventory/spare parts shall remain the property of VDOT. VDOT retains the right to inspect/audit off site inventory storage and to take possession of any inventory stored by the Contractor. 2. Contractor shall maintain the spare parts inventory at a location(s) agreed upon by the Contractor and the VDOT Project Manager or designee. 3. Contractor shall provide a secure controlled access storage area(s) to maintain VDOT owned SMS spare parts and other materials. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for shipping and receiving all parts to and from the manufacturer(s) for repair or refurbish needs. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for all VDOT inventory in their possession; f. Service Call Updates 1. Contractor shall provide email updates as designated by VDOT on all service calls in regard to the status of technician response time, on site time, site departure time, and status of the service call. 2. Contractor shall immediately notify the VDOT maintenance team of any unexpected delays, problems, system issues, component issues, etc., which will delay the corrective maintenance. 3. Contractor shall provide additional updates as requested by the VDOT maintenance team
