Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Project location is on the Pendleton Campus located at 7900 Hwy 76, Pendleton, SC 29670. • Specific area is on the downhill side of the one-way road that runs parallel with 76, adjacent to the IBDC (closer to the North Entrance). See attached aerial photo for reference. • Project is anticipated to take place Summer of 2024. Work is required to be done over a Saturday/Sunday. • The scope of work encompasses an area that is approximately 30’ wide, x 75’ long. • The entire work area (2,250SF or 250SY approximately) is to have asphalt demoed with the area to be demoed down to proper subgrade of -12”. • Subgrade is to be compacted. We are assuming that the subgrade will be able to achieve sufficient compaction and will not be unsuitable soil. • 8” of stone base will then be placed and compacted. • 2” Asphalt Binder course will then be placed, followed by a tack coat and a 2” surface course. • Existing Curb and Gutter is to remain in place. • 75 LF of painted double yellow line (not thermoplast) will be placed back on the repaired section.
