This request for proposals is for monitoring, maintenance, and installation (if applicable) of the Building Security Systems and the Fire Alarm Systems throughout the School District. Offerors are welcome to submit a proposal on both the Building Security Systems and Fire Alarm Systems. The District will only award one vendor to provide these services. Offerors will provide proof of liability insurance and license. The successful Offeror will respond on site within one (1) hour from the time notified of any alarm trouble. There are two separate systems at each location that will be requiring monitoring, a fire alarm system and a building security system. The locations are listed in Exhibit A. Fire Alarm System The fire equipment panels are ADEMCO, owned by the school district. The Offeror must agree to furnish and maintain dialers. The Offeror may charge an installation fee and specify a monthly service fee separately. The Offeror retains ownership of the dialers. Building Security System The existing building security devices are Honeywell/Ademco panels owned by the school district (more information on the panels can be found in Exhibit A on the final three pages of this document). The successful Offeror shall agree to furnish & maintain devices at each site as currently laid out or may propose comparable equipment along with the associated cost of the equipment. The Offeror may charge an installation fee and specify the monthly service fee separately.
