Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1 General: Provide to the satisfaction of ARRC, construction administration, and inspection services. All items of work shall be subjected to management and inspection procedures in accordance with: • Construction Contract Plans, Specifications, and Special Provisions, included permits and agreements. • All manuals, methods and procedures cited in the Contract. • All laws and regulations that apply to the work and the workmen, including the ARRC Procurement Code. • ARRC's construction manuals and instructional memoranda. • All other standards as may be required by the construction contract and applicable regulatory agencies. 4.2 The Contractor shall: become familiar with the contract and plans, specifications and the special provisions; monitor the Construction Contractor’s activities and perform all administrative duties in accordance with ARRC’s construction manual, instructional memos, the construction contract and standard procedures; measure quantities of all construction pay items and force account work; perform tests and inspections of materials and workmanship; become familiar with permits, coordinate with Deficient work: Immediately notify the Construction Contractor in writing of work not in compliance with the construction contract. This is not limited to the physical work but also includes the traffic control, safety practices, “Buy American” provisions, and other administrative requirements. The Contractor shall immediately notify the ARRC Project Manager, prior to sending the letter to the Construction Contractor, detailing the particular requirement, work or material that fails to conform to the Construction Contract, plans or specifications.
