Specifications include, but are not limited to: These residence halls become available for cleaning in quantities when students move out in December, May, and August. May through June is a high-volume time for each hall requiring immediate response between conference groups. The Office of Residential Life (“Residential Life”) has staff to handle these cleanings, but there are times when assistance or additional support is needed. Therefore, the supplier will be called out on an as needed basis. The department will notify the supplier two (2) days to one (1) week in advance with a total number and timeline for competition of work. The supplier must have sufficient equipment and personnel to perform this task. Most of the rooms will be cleaned during these three periods, in addition to occasional emergency call outs on an as needed basis through out the semesters. Our summer cleaning is very intense. 9 months worth of dirt and grime comes with each room after the student moves out. Attention to detail is very important and is the number one issue for the supervisors and the Department. Walls are to be washed, ceilings cleaned and free of debris, ceiling fans cleaned, blinds removed cleaned and replaced, corners cleaned free of dirt and debris, furniture moved and cleaned (upholstery not included) both inside and out, bathrooms scrubbed and disinfected, floors mopped and disinfected, closets cleaned, toilets scrubbed, etc. COMPLETE APARTMENT CLEANING- 3 BEDROOM APARTMENT THIS INCLUDES LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, LAUNDRY, 3 BEDROOMS AND 1-2 BATHROOMS; COMPLETE APARTMENT CLEANING- 1 BEDROOM EFFICIENCY THIS INCLUDES LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, LAUNDRY, 1 BEDROOM AND 1 BATHROOM.; COMPLETE SUITE CLEANING IN RESIDENCE HALL- BATHROOM AND 2 STUDENT BEDROOMS THIS INCLUDES A RESTROOM WITH TOILET, SHOWER, TWO VANITIES, AND TWO COMPLETE BEDROOMS WITH STUDENT ROOM FURNISHINGS; COMPLETE PRIVATE ROOM CLEANING WITH PRIVATE BATH IN RESIDENCE HALL THIS INCLUDES A RESTROOM WITH TOILET, SHOWER, ONE VANITY, AND ONE COMPLETE BEDROOM WITH STUDENT ROOM FURNISHINGS; CLEAN SUITE BATHROOM ONLY CLEAN THE BATHROOM IN A SUITE STYLE COMMUNITY SET UP ONLY- INCLUDING THE SHOWER, TOILET, TOWEL BARS, ROBE HOOKS, TOILET PAPER HOLDERS, AND ANY OTHER FIXTURES, AND VANITIES WITH SINK AND MIRROR
