Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following specifications are the minimum requirements for a “new”, heavy-duty, selfcontained, portable aggregate screening plant utilizing a Trommel type screener. SIZING; The Trommel screen must operate at variable speeds and produce a screened product down to 3/8” in dry, moist, or high moisture compost without “blinding”. A range between 3/8” and ¾” must be achievable for the screened product by changing only the speed of the Trommel and not by changing screen sizes. WEIGHT & TOWABILITY; The portable Trommel screener, including fines stacking conveyor, must have a minimum weight of 20,000lbs and must be towable behind either a two-ton flat bed or a dump truck by means of a military pintle hook.
