Specifications include, but are not limited to: comprehensive social and emotional learning (SEL) platform, to be used to build student social and emotional competencies in ways that are developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive. We are seeking a software service that enables an ecosystem to create, teach, and foster the life-long practice of emotional intelligence and civility amongst the collective UConn community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters. Students acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel, and show empathy for others, establish, and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. Request is for a company to provide a Social and Emotional Learning Platform that will enhance students’ curricula at the University of Connecticut using a PaaS. The goal is to use the platform in conjugant with a course(s) to increase positive outcomes for students, educators, and support staff, including increased social emotional competence in self-management, self-efficacy, growth mindset and social awareness.
