DETAILED REQUIREMENTS A. Perform surface preparations to include washing with a surfactant cleaning solvent to remove dirt and oily smoke film on all surfaces to be painted (P&G Duraprep/Prep 88 or equivalent). Must use standard water pressure from the utility to wash surfaces. Use of high-pressure water sources will not be used. To minimize the removal existing paint, mechanical methods such as brushing, scraping, etc. will not be used. Contractor is not responsible to clean up any paint that flakes off during this process.
