The SLCC Communication Department currently utilizes the Ross XPression 2RU HD-SDI Chassis with XPression Studio Single Channel Software, alongside the Ross Inception Desktop Scroll Controller and Inception Wireless Hand Scroll Controller with CueIt Software in our student television studio, acquired in 2021. To achieve seamless integration within our television studio, we plan to acquire a Ross switcher and routing system mentioned to ensure compatibility. Furthermore, all four local television stations (KSL, KSTU, KUTV, and KTVX) in Salt Lake City metro area operate using Ross equipment. To best prepare our students for local job opportunities, it is crucial they receive training on the equipment employed by these stations.
