Specifications include, but are not limited to: Complete a hydraulic analysis of the 460 acre Bishops Brook watershed that is located upstream of the crossing at North Eagle Village Road. Utilizing HydroCAD to assess the existing watershed runoff characteristics. This includes land cover type,land slope and soils. Land cover will be based upon aerial imagery obtained from the New York State GIS clearing House. Land slope data will be based upon the most recent LIDAR data set available from New York State. Soil information will be based upon the USDA Soil Survey database. Utilizing HEC-RAS to evaluate the change in water surface elevations along the Bishops Brook stream corridor and floodplain/floodway. Theexistingconditionsanalysis will includepresentdayand3to5yearsago. Theseevents willbecomparedto see if there is an apparent change in the flood events primarily focused on severity of flooding in the study area. A proposed conditions model will be developed that incorporates measures to mitigate the reported flooding. For this model event, up to four options will be considered to mitigate reported flooding events.
