Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide installation labor at Prevailing Wage rates based on the bill of material of the basis of design fixtures listed in Attachment A and Prevailing Wage Determination document provided as Attachment C. Use Price Bid Form for submitting bid. a. Certified Payroll, partial and final lien waivers are required. b. Apprenticeship requirements meeting the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is mandatory. This includes 15% of the total labor hours are performed by qualified apprentices from a registered apprenticeship program. The Contractor must ensure the applicable ratio of apprentices to journeyman established by the apprenticeship program are met for the apprentices working on the facility each day. Further, if there are 4 or more laborers there must be at least one (1) qualified apprentice. c. A daily log of who is on each site indicating who are the apprentices and journeyman is mandatory daily to ensure the required ratios are maintained throughout the project. 2. Installation labor includes: a. Removal of existing lighting fixture. b. Separate fluorescent lamp and ballast for recycling. c. Install provided LED lighting fixtures with imbedded lighting controls. d. Provide work required tools, including all necessary lifts and scaffolding. 3. Contractor will be required to follow City of Danbury Public Schools’ security protocols. 4. Contractor must pull permits for installation work. Copies of the permits must be provided to RLE, including the closeout permit/inspections at the end of the project. City will waive any permit fees.
