The District intends to award several as-needed contracts covering a period of three years with up to a two-year extension. These contracts may comprise multiple projects and will be authorized by individual Notice(s) to Proceed. SOQs from small businesses, minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged. The District also seeks to promote employment and business opportunities for local residents and firms on all contracts as such opportunities may occur and to the extent legally possible. Services may include, but not be limited to, any combination of the following: plan review and preparation, specifications, cost estimating, analysis, design, remediation, retrofit, mechanical and/or plumbing inspections, materials research, interaction with local government agencies, construction/contract administration, construction support services, bid support services, site development, applicable professional standards, and statutory requirements.
