Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Construction and Materials: • 36" x 80" x 6"' Fire-resistant heavy duty innerspring mattress. • The mattress must comply with California TB 129, ASTME 1590, Federal Standard 16 CFR 1632 (FF4-72), and 16 CFR 1633 Flammability Tests. Testing shall be conducted by an independent laboratory. o Independent laboratory test certificates must be submitted with Proposal. 2. Coil Innerspring Unit: All wire, 312 coil innerspring unit, based upon full size coil count. Bonnell, 13-gauge, heat tempered, high carbon steel mattress innerspring unit. All coils shall be of knotted coil construction, hourglass shape. Bonnell wire coils shall be joined together in uniform rows by use of at least 17 ½-gauge helical wire and 6- gauge border wire. 3. Insulator: One side each synthetic fiber pad to weigh 1.75 ounces per square foot, cut to overlap the innerspring unit by three (3) inches in both length and width and secured to the coils by hog rings in 6 (six) positions.
