Specifications include, but are not limited to: STRIPPING – Black Stripping High Pro Pads will be needed, to be provided by the vendor. Stripper – Facilipro, Bright Blast Low Odor (provided by District) Dilution of 22oz per gallon, Set to dwell for 8-12 minutes Must utilize aerosol floor and baseboard stripper for baseboards and awkward floor spaces. Vendor to provide aerosol floor and baseboard stripper. Neutralizing – Prep Pak Floor Neutralizer for first rinse (provided by District) – 1 pack per 3 gallons of water Mandatory – Floor PH check after each sequential rinse. PH pen provided by District. FINISHING Equipment will be provided to use the backpack Phazer system utilizing Laser (Facilipro) Finish. Using this system, as directed/trained, will allow 6 coats of finish to be applied in an hour. (An overall reduction of labor time of 73% compared to the conventional mop and bucket system.). Floor wax to be provided by District. The vendor will clean all areas and equipment at the end of the day. All materials and chemicals should be disposed of daily and off-site. All representatives of the company must adhere to the drug-free policies of the District at all times. The awarded vendor must attend two hour training scheduled on July 3rd at 100 North Danzler Rd, Duncan, SC 29307 on process/products and use of equipment. Floors must be completed by August 5th The District currently estimates needing approximately 75,000 sq ft of floors stripped and waxed. The bid price is per square foot. Square footage of a specific project will be agreed upon by the vendor and District prior to issuance of PO. Sample floor pictures of classroom areas are below. The Contractor will warranty their work for 6 months. District reserves the right to inspect and approve the projets according to the specifications of this solicitation. Imperfections in the finished product could result in rejection of payment and additional work under the warranty.
