Specifications include, but are not limited to: Consultant shall conduct background research and pedestrian survey of 5,050 acres within the White River Wildlife Area. All work will adhere to parameters described in the scope of work. A context study has been previously completed of the entire wildlife area, including georeferenced historic USGS topo maps, 1951 aerials, and geodatabase of historic structures and features throughout the wildlife area. The geodatabase and georeferenced files will be provided by ODFW upon award of the contract. The context study is available on OARRA (Biblio 32172). Subtask 1.1 Literature Review Consultant shall conduct record searches and literature review for the APE and a one-mile radius, prior to any fieldwork. Consultant shall, at a minimum, examine the following databases and documents: • Reports, current bibliographies, and site/survey records accessible in the SHPO online Historic Sites Database and Archaeological Database and the Oregon Archaeological Records Remote Access (OARRA); • ODFW Historic Records, including White River Context Study Files (through agency contacts listed above); • Historic Maps (General Land Office maps; Historic Topographic maps; Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps)...
