Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Include one FREE plate of process color for the front, center and back plate for every edition published. • The Reporter is to be published twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday during the regular academic year. The Reporter reserves the right to publish every week. The Reporter reserves the right to not print during the Thanksgiving week. • The Reporter reserves the right to drop publications to one issue a week during the academic year with a 30-day notice. • The Reporter also reserves the right to publish special sections to be printed and delivered. Current such issues are: Sport Zone, Futures, Housing Guide and The Best of MSU. Additional issues may be added. Special sizes may apply as stated earlier. • Based on the University’s calendar for the year (2024-2026), the schedule for printing and delivery of the MSU Reporter will be: Every Tuesday & Thursday starting after the first Monday of each semester. The Reporter will not publish following a university holiday. Ex: Monday is a holiday there will not be an issue the following Tuesday. • Fall/Winter Semester special sections: Sports Zone, Housing Guide • Spring special sections: Sports Zone, Best of MSU and Futures Magazine • The Reporter reserves the right to publish special issues if needed during the academic year and over the summer. Futures Magazine is a glossy covered orientation magazine to be printed, stapled and delivered in May (date to be determined by the Reporter Office). Housing Guide is 8:25” x 10.75” stapled supplement. • Printer will be responsible for printing and delivery in a satisfactory manner of such special issues. • The Reporter reserves the right to go weekly with a 30-day notice. • The Reporter reserves the right to go either bi-weekly. The Reporter is currently not publishing summer issues but reserves the right to publish if need be. • The REPORTER will ONLY consider tabloid size; Image Area: 9.833 X 15; Page Size: 11 3/8 X 16 • NEWSPRINT WEIGHT: 30 LB
