To purchase a custom manufactured Booking van for use by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). The booking van will be divided into three (3) distinct areas. Area one will have a minimum of six (6) workstations with overhead storage cabinets, two (2) flat floor slide out room extensions and location for a printer on a slide out tray. Area two will be set up to take mugshots. Area three will be one (1) work desk, a galley, one (1) pull-out EIA equipment rack, and two (2) full height storage cabinet with adjustable shelving. While all efforts have been made to fully detail the construction materials methods and equipment required to build this vehicle, it remains the vendor’s responsibility to choose components that will provide maximum performance, service life and safety and not just meet the minimum requirements.
