Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization Measurement and payment for this item shall be on a lump sum (LS) basis. The lump sum cost shall pay for all the costs of mobilization and demobilization for items awarded. The work shall include, but not be limited to, preparatory and cleanup work necessary for performance of the work in accordance with the Standard Specifications, Plans and Specifications, and as directed by the Engineer. This item also includes the movement of construction personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to and from the project site, and all other work and operations, which must be incurred prior to the beginning of and after the end of construction work. This item shall also include obtaining bonds, insurance policies, licenses, and permits required by the contract documents, project meetings, coordination and all related administrative costs for this Project. Partial payment of this bid item shall be based on percent of this item completed and shall be contingent upon the Contractor’s furnishing and the City’s acceptance of: 1) the schedule of values, 2) the construction schedule, 3) Quality Control Plan, 4) all submittals and shop drawings, 5) worker certifications, and 6) fringe benefit summary statement. Also included in this bid item is maintaining the project site, regular cleanup and final cleanup, temporary fencing and staging area, if any. 2. Remove and Install New Controller Measurement and payment for this item shall be on a lump sum (LS) basis. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for the implementation of the requirements to remove existing controller and install new controllers in POM Buildings 277, 422, 423, 450, 451, 610, 611, 617, 618, 625, 626, 627, 628, 630, 647, 650, 651, 660, 842, 848, and OMC Building 4280), safe-off of existing controls / demolition and installation of new building supervisory controls, Application Engineering, perform investigation and assessment of existing BAS systems, collect all identifying information from existing building supervisory devices (Building #, Device Type/Model #, Serial #, # of connected field devices, etc.), perform a database backup of each building supervisory device, note any existing system deficiencies (offline, unreliable, faulty device/sensors, alarms), perform migration of existing network engines databases to the newest software releases, upgrade existing legacy network engines (MS-NAEs and MS-NCEs) to the newest generation of Network Engines (M4-SNEs and M4-SNCs), programming, equipment start-up, final testing and review of front end operations and check of HVAC sequences of operation, project coordination for DDC controls, and end-user training.
