This project, to be constructed by DFCM, is to provide backbone infrastructure for The Point project. The project consists of the demolition and removal of existing 200,000 and 400,000 gallon buried concrete water tanks (and all appurtenances) and replacement with a new 3,000,000 gallon buried conventionally reinforced concrete tank east of the Fred House Academy Building. Work will generally consist of sub-soil stabilization, structural fill, cast in place concrete structures, masonry walls, piping, steel pipe fabrication, valves, meters, pumps, flat work, site work, and associated appurtenances. Also included are inlet and outlet vault structures, metering vault structure, approximately 1,300 linear feet of 30” and 12” ductile iron piping, SCADA, yard piping and restoration of existing sidewalks, roadways etc. that will be disturbed during construction.
