Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assessment 3.1.1. Walk the facilities to survey the existing elevator components, doors, cab finishes, visual and audible accessories, elevator pit, machine room, electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and all related elevator equipment located at the buildings. 3.1.2. Evaluate the safety performance and elevator maintenance plan and maintenance records. 3.1.3. Provide a detailed report to clearly identify the existing make/model of elevator and all existing equipment with an assessment of repairs required including an assessment of useful life remaining. 3.1.4. Consultant is to provide recommendations in the report to modernize and/or upgrade the elevator to comply with all applicable codes and laws, including any upgrades required to ancillary systems including but not limited to such as fire/smoke detection, sump pits, and fire protection. 3.1.5. The report should include a summary of recommendations and several options for the City to evaluate. 3.1.6. An estimated cost to complete the repairs should be included with the report. 3.1.7.
