Specifications include, but are not limited to: Item 1 - Chlorine CHLORINE (CAS Number 7782-50-5) shall meet or exceed the requirements in ANSI/AWWA B301-10. It shall be certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 Drinking Water Treatment Additives. Manufacturer must be included in the official listings for CHLORINE as meeting NSF/ANSI Standard 60 – by NSF International and included for such listing on the NSF International website (NSF.org). Chlorine shall be delivered in units of 150 pounds (net weight) in cylinders appropriate for such use. No more than ten (10) 150# cylinders shall be delivered to a single location at any time. Price shall be for EACH pound of CHLORINE delivered and unloaded at plant dock. Item 2 – Sodium Fluorosilicate SODIUM FLUOROSILICATE (CAS Number 16893-85-9) (also known as Sodium Silicoflouride or Sodium Hexafluorosilicate) Shall meet or exceed the requirements in ANSI/AWWA B702-11. It shall be certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 Drinking Water Treatment Additives. Manufacturer must be included in the official listings for this product as meeting NSF/ANSI Standard 60 – by NSF International and included for such listing on the NSF International website (NSF.org) Sodium Fluorosilicate shall be delivered in fifty (50) pound bags (net weight). Minimum delivery request at plants 1, 3 and 4 are two thousand pounds (2000 pounds). Minimum delivery request for plant 2 is one thousand pounds (1000 pounds) Price shall be for EACH pound of SODIUM FLUOROSILICATE delivered and unloaded at plant dock. Item 3 – Sodium Hexametaphosphate SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE (CAS Number 68915-31-1; 10124-56-8) (also known as Sodium Polyphosphate, Glassy) shall meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI/AWWA B502-11.
