Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and appliances necessary for the proper completion of the work as required in the Specifications, in accordance with good construction practice, and as required by the materials manufacturer, as amended. The work under this Section generally includes the following: B. Provide all access and temporary shoring, including design, to perform the specified scope of work. C. Remove and repair spalled concrete at east entrance. D. Remove and repair spalled concrete slabs and beams in law library basement storage room below the west entrance. E. Brick masonry repointing. F. Removal and replacement of brick units. G. Remove abandoned anchors in brick masonry and patch mortar. H. Remove and replace sealant at wall penetrations. I. Spalled limestone repair. J. Remove reglet flashings and brick masonry above canopy to provide one-wythe through wall flashing, including gutter counterflashing. K. Provide sloped gutter and downspout at canopies. L. Remove, clean, re-shim, and reinstall glass canopy panels to provide pitch to gutter. M. Remove four (4) existing glass panels on the west elevation canopy and replace with new panels. N. Remove and replace west storefront assembly with double-leaf entry door, sealed threshold, and threshold flashing. O. Remove and replace steel lintel at west storefront. P. Remove existing interior carpet, gypsum board and plaster finishes, ceiling finishes, and paint at west entrance and law library basement storage room below. Q. Repair existing concrete beams and slab and masonry foundation wall below the west entrance. R. Remove and replace expansion material and joint sealants at existing concrete landing and ramp at the west entrance. S. Remove mortar and install sealant at vertical cross joints in the granite band along the ramp at the west entrance.
