Specifications include, but are not limited to: III. TECHNICAL/PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. A. KUALOA REGIONAL PARK 1. AEROBIC SYSTEMS a. The Contractor shall provide the following services on a weekly basis: Three (3) each Cyclic Biological Treatment (CBT) Systems: i. Clean air filter and change when necessary. (Air filter cost included) ii. Check diffuser for proper operation. iii. Collect samples and perform analysis for Dissolved Oxygen (DO), pH, solids settle-ability, and chlorine residual in accordance to applicable State of Hawaii Department of Health regulations on a monthly basis. iv. Check effluent chlorinating system for proper operation and adjust application rates as necessary. v. Maintain a log of plant operations and test results. Submit copy of log and test results to the Department of Parks and Recreation with your service invoicing for payment. vi. Provide chlorine hypochlorite tablets for effluent disinfection. b. The Contractor shall provide the following services on a monthly basis: Appendix A: Scope of Work 2 i. Collect and transport Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), suspended solids, and conform bacteria analysis. ii. Monthly testing (included – one (1) each Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)/TSS test combined – requires sampling port) iii. Plant pumping liquid sludge hauling and disposal (includes one (1) each pump per month) for CBT System and/or lift stations
