Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed work shall be defined as interior demolition and construction project to renovate Room CSB001 located in the Sub-Basement Level of C Building at the John Dempsey Hospital at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington, Connecticut for the final location for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Tundra Cryo Electron Microscope which is currently located at their facility at 400 Farmington Avenue. It includes renovations to an existing area involving demolition work, construction of interior partitions, and the installation of finish materials, equipment, accessories, and MEP systems. It is the intent that the Contractor shall do all the work that is required to prepare the space for the final installation of the Microscope equipment and systems (under a separate contract), and turn it over to the Health Center, ready for occupancy and use.
