Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of Work: 1. Saw cutting, asphalt removal, grading, compacting sub-grade/base, asphalt patch of all designated areas. 2. Milling edges to provide smooth transition between concrete and new 2” asphalt overlay. 3. 2” overlay of approximately 43,500 sq. ft. of parking and drive road area, including tack oil. 4. Stripe parking lot using thermos to match current layout. 5. Remove existing asphalt paving and replace with a new 4’x 200’ by 4 inches thick drainage swale at the north end of the parking area (Refer to the provided sketch for the approximate location). Concrete should be 4,000 psi with rebar (3 - #4 bars with cross bars every 4 ft). Work Shall Include: • Contractor is to provide all labor and haul off of demolished materials and spoils. • Contractor is to provide all labor and materials necessary for grading, compacting and paving of the designated parking area. Contractor is responsible for hiring a material testing firm for compaction/density testing of soils and all asphalt testing for compaction and cores. • Area is to have proper drainage, so it does not drain towards existing buildings or pond. • Contractor is responsible for all utility locates. • Contractor is to remove and reinstall parking bumpers and provide adequate protection to buildings and existing utilities. • Contractor is to provide and install all pavement markings and signage as identified by the owner at time of bid. • Contractor is to coordinate with building management to prevent interference with building shipments or deliveries. • Contractor is to field verify all dimensions and measurements.
