Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Proposer(s) will • Serve as a regional hub to deepen relationships with community partners within your region, in the Black, African, and African American, rural, and frontier communities, and especially in youth within communities. • Support the creation of a shared vision for commercial tobacco prevention and culturally appropriate cessation options for populations most likely to use flavored tobacco products. • Partner with HPCDP and participate in TOFCO to expand statewide reach, building off their successful engagement in the Portland Metro area and leveraging recent investments in community-centered tobacco control efforts in all parts of Oregon. • Assess, develop, and promote new culturally appropriate cessation resources, especially for youth within the African American, Black, rural, and frontier communities. • Support cross-sector partners to embed culturally appropriate cessation resources into community-based programming.
