Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to develop a Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan will include but is not limited to the review and application of relevant state and federal policies, regulations, and initiatives; assessment of HDOT’s existing emission reduction efforts, and integration into existing HDOT plans, programs, projects, and processes; assessment of other states’ and possibly island nations’ greenhouse gas reduction plans or similar plans, and their outcomes, successes and lessons learned that could inform HDOT’s strategy for this Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan. Greenhouse gas emission reduction and performance quantification and reporting methods will be researched and assessed for the HDOT programs.
