The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to enter into a contract with a qualified supplier to obtain consulting services for health and related benefit insurance for Weber State University. The consultant will also help the University in designing and evaluating proposals for administrators of its health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurances as needed and required by procurement policy. The consultant will also be involved in assisting the Human Resource Department, University benefits and recommending committees, and University administration in assessing, reviewing, and designing the employee insurance programs. The University is examining several alternatives of providing this product and/or service and may decide, after reviewing proposals submitted, not to enter into any agreement.
