Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Alaska Military Youth Academy (AMYA), is soliciting proposals for the upgrade/replacement of their audio and visual equipment located in their dining facility. Having an operable system ensure all guests/cadets/staff attending training/classes have a good/clear learning experience that is not hindered by an inoperable system. Currently, attendees struggle to hear what is being relayed and have no visual capabilities. The Alaska Military Youth Academy is seeking a system that will provide a seamless and user-friendly experience, allowing presenters to connect their laptops wirelessly or with HDMI to display content clearly on five displays: one 180" motorized screen paired with a laser projector and four TV displays. The offered system must be designed for flexibility and ease of use, ensuring presenters can focus on their content and message without technical distractions. Key features we are looking for are: 1. Wireless Connectivity: Presenters must be able to quickly connect their laptops to the system using Miracast (for windows and Android devices), or AirPlay (for macOS and iOS) devices) enabling wireless content sharing without the need for additional adapters or cables. 2. Wired Connectivity: An HDMI and USB/C inputs will be available for easy laptop connection to the system at the presenter table in the middle of the room. 3. Wall-Mounted Control Interface: A user-friendly touch screen will be mounted to the pole next to the presenter table, providing full control over the audio-visual system without requiring access to the equipment cabinet. This will include the ability to turn the system on and off, select input sources, and manage volume levels. 4. High-Quality Audio: A speaker’s system with an amplifier and portable microphones that will easily project sound throughout the space and ceiling mic arrays that ensure clear audio reproduction to enhance the overall presentation experience. 5. Professional Installation: Offeror must provide experienced technicians who will take care of the entire installation process, from equipment mounting and cabling to system configuration and testing, ensuring a reliable and high-performing system. 6. Provide 2-way video for video Conferencing. Training and step-by-step instructions must be provided on the use of the system to all end users. Selected contractor will be required to provide ON CALL audio/visual tech support for a period of two years. The On Call Tech support may be in the form of a phone call or on-site visit depending on the severity of the issue. Cost offered is per hour no matter if on-site or over the phone. No travel will be paid for on-site visits.
