Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will renovate approximately 35,000 sf of the General Education Building to provide space for the Gross Anatomy Lab including all related work to complete the project. The existing Gross Anatomy Lab (GAL) is currently limited in providing an optimal gross anatomy learning experience by a number of constraints. To address these constraints, the General Education Building (GEB) (constructed 1975) was identified as an alternative location for the GAL renovation. The GAL renovation will include the large labs, smaller flex labs, and all other related support functions. Pending the State Building Commission approval of this project, the anticipated total project budget is $30,260,000 (MACC $19,126,000).
