Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Contract Item #1 – 50 Gallon Prover 3.1.1.1 Prover must be 50 Gallon, calibrated “To Deliver” at 60 °F. 3.1.1.2 Prover must be made from Type 304 Stainless Steel and built to NIST Handbook 105-3, OIML R-120, and API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards Chapter 4. 3.1.1.3 Prover must have a center drain with a 2-inch butterfly valve. 3.1.1.4 Prover must be equipped with a bottom drain. 3.1.1.5 Prover must include (1) stainless steel thermometer well that complies with NIST Handbook 105-3 requirements. 3.1.1.6 Prover must include (2) spirit levels. 3.1.1.7 Prover must include an aluminum graduated scale with a range of +/- 88 in3 with a resolution of 2 in3 and a scale gauge that must be graduated both above and below the nominal capacity graduation by an amount not less than 1.5% of the prover volume. The scale accuracy must be 0.02%. 3.1.1.8 Prover must include (2) lifting loops attached to the top band of the prover. 3.1.1.9 Prover must be equipped with a sight flow indicator downstream of the shut-off valve. 3.1.1.10 Prover must include a stainless steel “top loading-submerged fill” pipe which passes through the upper cone and extends to the bottom cone to reduce foaming while filling. 3.1.1.11 Prover neck must include a stainless-steel hinged locking cover. 3.1.1.12 Prover must include (3) adjustable crank legs. 3.1.1.13 Prover must be piped to drain into any of (3) storage tanks. 3.1.1.14 Prover must be equipped with a 50 ft retractable grounding reel made of galvanized steel cable. 3.1.2 Contract Item #2 – Storage Tanks 3.1.2.1 Three (3) 80 gallon storage tanks must be provided. 3.1.2.2 Tanks must be made from Stainless Steel with all Stainless Steel hardware. 3.1.2.3 Tanks must be sloped and creased to provide complete drainage. 3.1.2.4 Tanks must include 2-inch stainless steel pipe drain lines connected individually to each holding tank with quick connect male coupling and cap and chain. 3.1.2.5 Tanks must be equipped with 2-in butterfly valves. 3.1.2.6 Two (2) aluminum drain hose storage tubes (4-inch diameter each with vented cap on one end, hinged, lockable access door on the other) must be provided. 3.1.2.7 Two (2) 6 ft 2-inch diameter petroleum drain hoses with quick connect fittings must be provided. 3.1.2.8 One (1) 18-inch aluminum drop tube to allow drain hose to easily fit into below ground storage tanks.
