Specifications include, but are not limited to: TURF REINFORCEMENT (FLEXAMAT) - SPECIAL PROVISION 7 Description. This item shall consist of furnishing and installing Turf Reinforcement (Flexamat) per the plans and specifications. Materials. The Turf Reinforcement shall be Flexamat Standard or approved equal. Construction Requirements. The Turf Reinforcement (Flexamat) shall be installed per the manufacturer’s recommendations at the locations shown on the plans. Method of Measurement. Turf Reinforcement (Flexamat) will be measured by the unit. One unit consists of one square yard of concrete blocks, geogrid, underlayment materials and all incidental items necessary to complete the installation. Basis of Payment. Work completed and accepted and measured as provided above will be paid for at the contract unit price bid per square yard for Turf Reinforcement (Flexamat) of the type specified, which price shall be full compensation for furnishing, fabricating, and installing the Turf Reinforcement (Flexamat); and for all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
