Specifications include, but are not limited to: Colorado’s Intensive Survey and National Register Designation of LGBTQ+ Sites in Colorado. x Selection of Advisory Group members consisting of up to ten (10) local subject matter experts and/or LGBTQ+ community members; honoraria to be provided. The Advisory Group must be representative of the full LGBTQ+ community, including diversity of racial/ethnic background, ages, genders, and lived experiences to help ensure that the LGBTQ community is authentically represented. Facilitation of Advisory Group meetings and solicitation of opinions on sites to survey, with priority on sites of intersectionality. Within a basic framework of potential site eligibility, a Denver Metro and Boulder geographic boundary, and priority for sites of intersectionality, the project team will be guided by the LGBTQ+ Community Advisory Group and where they assign value and importance. The contractor will select sites per Advisory Group discussions, advice, and project objectives. This project will not be community engagement in name only, but a true and full embrace of community-driven decision making. The contractor will pay the Advisory Group members an honorarium for their participation. This will be detailed out in an addendum with the selected vendor for this project. x Conduct information sharing through community outreach to identify potential sites. At least three (3) public presentations throughout the Denver Metro area and one (1) final presentation with findings will be done prior to the selection of sites. Flyers and other informational documents for public use and sharing must be provided by the contractor. The contractor will develop localized LGBTQ+ contexts related to the local area and/or communities if none exists.
