Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of West Jordan, on behalf of the Public Works Department (OWNER), is seeking bids for a supplier to furnish PG64-28, SP-3/8, 50Nd Fiber Reinforced Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) or PG64-34, SP-3/8, 50Nd Fiber Reinforced WMA for Class II roads as listed below. PG64-28, SP-3/8, 50Nd fiber reinforced WMA or PG64-34, SP-3/8, 50Nd fiber reinforced WMA for Class II roads using warm mix technology. 1. 2017 APWA Specifications (including amendments) 32 12 03 and 32 12 05 shall be applied to WMA. 1. Provide target dosage rate for WMA technology being used 2. Identify technology used to produce WMA 1. Comply with manufacturer’s recommendations to dose and produce material 2. RAP shall not exceed 15 percent by weight. 3. Asphalt content in the mix shall not be less than 5.5 percent. 4. FORTA FI Fiber reinforcement supplied as specified in the mix as described in the attached specifications. Reference Attachment B.
