Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) provide on-call third party review of various design, permitting, and/or construction documents on behalf of the Massport Fire Marshall’s office. (2) Provide third party review for all Capital Projects Projects. (3) be capable of identifying discrepancies within the 3rd party consulting engineer documents and current applicable codes. (4) Per the latest edition of MGL 780 CMR Chapter 9, section 901.2.1, provide a three tier review of the fire protection system and report comments to MPA Capital Programs. (5) Projects may range of various sizes and complexities, including new vertical construction or modifications to existing structures. (6) Have an understanding of general building and FAA codes, including NFPA and Commonwealth of Massachusetts (CMR) latest edition.
