Explanation of the need to be fulfilled by this item(s), how is it unique from all other options, and why it is the only one that can meet the specific needs of the department: Just Play Sports provides an end-to-end workflow and automation platform designed to engage athletes with interactive content built with specially designed coaching tools. The Team App allows coaches to share content with athletes on any device, allowing for immediate access anywhere. It also automates opponent data to create better scouting reports. It simplifies video distribution for film clips and ultimately provides a uniform interface for all preparation and program management needs. The Recruiting Coordinator provides many of the same functions as the Team App, but for recruiting purposes. NCAA Database and Recruit Profiles allow for quick and easy evaluation and discovery of prospects. Given the mobile nature of recruiting, the software allows for access on any device, on-the-go as needed. The organizational features and innovative interface helps streamline and coordinate the full staffs recruiting efforts in one place. Synergy API allows for immediately synced edits between Just Play and Synergy (required film exchange platform of the SEC). JustPlay is unique in that all of the information can be accessed remotely through the Team App interface - making information and preparation as seamless and efficient as possible. No other software provides the capabilities that JustPlay provides. 3. Explanation of the efforts taken by the department to determine this is the only source and the efforts used to obtain the best possible price: Our women's basketball coaching staff stays in tune with the trends and necessities in the college basketball industry. They work tirelessly to be sure that we are using the best possible technology to prepare and develop our players, and if there were another option that could provide the services of JustPlay, they'd be jumping at the opportunity to use it.
