Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Conduct an inspection of building(s) to determine existence of an air conditioning system. If the system has been destroyed and/or removed, or is non-existent, then the Contractor is required to provide documentation stating condition to the Construction Manager for Carolina Crossroads or his designee. If a system is present, the Contractor is required to follow the Statement of Refrigerant Recovery process detailed in the Schedule of Building Demolition Activities section. 2. Demolish indicated buildings, structures, and appurtenances completely. Use appropriate construction methods and equipment necessary to safely complete the work within applicable permits and limitations of governing regulations. 3. Following any abatement, floor coverings (carpet, LVP, laminate flooring, etc.) shall be removed for all properties within this scope of work, regardless of presence of asbestos in any floor covering materials. Vinyl or tile, if soundly adhered to slab, may remain. 4. Once demolition begins on a structure, work shall be performed continuously until complete. 5. All buildings in this contract will be demolished to grade no later than July 26, 2024.
