Specifications include, but are not limited to: create a curved wall that accommodates future installation of commemorative granite tiles and is constructed directly adjacent the existing concrete paving to the west of the plaza area (Exhibit A). The Memorial Monument Wall shall: Be a welcome sign and create a sense of arrival as people enter the Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial area. Consider the Cosumnes Community Services District and Cosumnes Legacy Foundation’s mission and vision. Be constructed to wrap the existing circular concrete plaza (Exhibit B). Retain and protect the existing seating, concrete star with flagpole, concrete paving and dedication brick pavers. Be structurally stable and have appropriate spacing to allow for future installation of granite plaques (by District personnel), in various sizes (Exhibit C), as they are purchased to commemorate Veterans in the area.
