Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Albuquerque, Department of Health Housing and Homelessness, is seeking proposals from offerors to conduct daily operations and/or services for target populations, in a manner consistent with Housing First low barrier principles at the Westside Emergency Housing Center (“WEHC”). The WEHC provides congregate shelter for unhoused adults (over the age of 18) per guests’ self-identification as men, women and couples. Guests may bring up to two pets each. The shelter is located approximately 17 miles west of downtown near the Double Eagle Airport, with an approximately 20-minute drive. It is open year-round, 24/7. A tour of the WEHC will be provided at the time of the non-mandatory pre-proposal conference.
